These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jappcare Technologies Ltd platform, including the Jappcare mobile application, website, dashboards, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

Account
A registered user profile created on the Platform.

Applicable Laws
All applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Cameroon.

Mobile Application
Any mobile application developed and operated by Jappcare.

Platform
Jappcare’s website, mobile application, and related services.

Services
Vehicle maintenance, inspection, repair coordination, subscriptions, and related services offered by Jappcare.

Technician
An independent automobile technician or mechanic engaged through Jappcare.

Insurer
A licensed insurance provider offering services via the Platform.

Spare Part Distributor
A business entity supplying automotive parts through the Platform.

Fleet Owner
An individual or company managing multiple vehicles using Jappcare services.

User
Any person accessing or using the Platform.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

  • You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Jappcare reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


3. Scope of Services

Jappcare operates as a digital autotech marketplace connecting vehicle owners with independent service providers.

Jappcare:

  • Does not own or operate service centers.

  • Does not directly supervise independent technicians.

  • Is not responsible for workmanship, delays, or damages caused by third-party service providers.

All service disputes must be resolved directly between the vehicle owner and the service provider.


4. User Accounts

When creating an Account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.

  • Keep login credentials secure.

  • Not create multiple accounts.

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.


5. Payments & Subscriptions

  1. Subscription services are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually.

  2. Repair services require payment according to issued invoices.

  3. Subscription fees automatically renew unless canceled.

  4. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Jappcare reserves the right to modify pricing.


6. Technicians

Jappcare may assign independent Technicians to provide services. By using our Platform, you authorize Jappcare to connect you with such Technicians.

Technicians are independent contractors, not employees of Jappcare.


7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, branding, software, and materials on the Platform are the exclusive property of Jappcare.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Reverse engineer

  • Modify

  • Distribute

Any part of the Platform without written permission.


8. Mobile Application Terms

iOS Users

Your use of the iOS app must comply with Apple Inc. App Store terms.
Apple is not responsible for the app’s functionality or support.

Android Users

Your use of the Android app must comply with Google LLC Play Store terms.
Google is not responsible for Jappcare’s services or content.


9. Privacy & Data Usage

Jappcare collects and processes user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Location Data

Our mobile application may access and process precise or approximate location data in order to:

  • Connect users with nearby mechanics or service centers

  • Provide roadside assistance support

  • Improve service accuracy and response time

  • Enhance safety and fraud prevention

Location data is only collected:

  • With your permission

  • When required for active service functionality

Users may disable location permissions at any time through device settings; however, this may limit certain features of the app.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes

  • Circumvent payment systems

  • Attempt to hack or reverse engineer the Platform

  • Collect other users’ data without consent

  • Post misleading or fraudulent information

Violation may result in termination of your Account.


11. Limitation of Liability

Jappcare shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits or data

  • Vehicle damage caused by third-party service providers

  • Theft, fire, weather damage, or external events beyond our control

Services are provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jappcare from claims arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Platform

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity


13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.


15. Force Majeure

Jappcare shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, or government actions.


16. Feedback

By submitting feedback, you grant Jappcare a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it without compensation.
